Thank you, Megan, for the tag!

Okay, I’ve been tagged. That’s a great thing, right? I mean, it tells me someone actually likes my blog and extends her efforts to show it by tagging me in her post. I want to return the favor by answering her questions. However, I could not continue on to tagging other blogs because the blogs I would have wanted to tag are already tagged, such as Toni's 1chocolatebox.

Thank you, Megan, for tagging me. Megan is the pretty owner of My Storybook Love Affair. Why not head over to her blog to check her interesting posts on any still life material related to books or her detailed and honest book reviews? I specially enjoy her travel posts.

Here are my answers to Megan’s questions:

What is your favourite childhood book?

What are you currently reading?

Who is your favourite author and why? (L-R) Alyson Holman, Sarah Paretsky, Ruth Ann Nordin. Their books are memorable and flawlessly integrate social issues in the plots.

Outside of blogging, what do you like to do?

Who are some of your favourite artists, bands etc? Yeah, I love to dance.

Sweet or savoury?

Do you have any favourite blogs and if so what are they? Apart from My Storybook Love Affair and Toni’s One Chocolate Box, here are some of them.

What is your dream holiday? I guess I’m a sucker for cobblestones, old architecture, rare kinds of transportation, and places that start with V (Vigan and Venice).

Who is your all-time favourite character? Jane Eyre is independent and strong without being silly and overdramatic.
If you could write a book, what would it be about? Nothing dystopian, I assure you. I would want something that talks of social issues without being boring and too heavy and with the huge element of romance, such as Linnet and the Prince by Alyson Holman.

Recommend one book that you think everyone should read.

  2. So fun learning more about you! I loved many of the same books that you liked in childhood (and we just reviewed an Ann M. Martin book, Belle Teal, on my blog). I thought including pictures of each answer was so clever. Jane Eyre is one of my all time favorite books, too!

    1. Oh, I'll have to go check your blog for more ideas on children's books. I know that Ann Martin wrote more stories apart from The Babysitters' Club. You know what, Jess, I bought heaps of children's books weeks ago (Little House Series, The Boxcar children, all of The Bobbsey Twins set, and a couple of books by Beverly Cleary). I can't wait to read them all!
